UT2k4 Invasion Saturday Night Big Match?

We should group up a large group of guys to start an Invasion match on the Saturday night, or whenever a suitable time when no tournaments are on, so which we can have this big game.

Invasion is the game type where all the players are on the same team, then get attacked in waves by the computer control Skaarj. if u die, u will just have to hope and cheer on the remaining survivors to make it to the next round when everyone who died gets a re spawn. its immensely fun on Lan, as i found out at i33 a while back, especially after a few beers and everyones just shouting "LOOK OUT FOR THAT SPIDER" and random stuff. its hilarious. i recommend everyone who has the game and hasn't played it to check it out.

Meh who knows, this might bring all the teams together in a brawl against the vengeful CPU!

I'm not sure about the timing (saturday night tends to be when the tournies are), but I will certainly look into the game type and see if I can get it running on the server

This sounds like a hell of a lot of fun. Kinda reminds me of our meager efforts on the UT2K4 mod CD introduced us to - Alien Swarm!

We do have to do this, at some point, somehow!

Ahh really KF, well on the tournements tab it says all the tourneys are on friday night lolz. ahh guess we could arrange it for Friday night or sunday then

Friday night is being covered by the Pg team, so I don't want to organise anything that will interfere with their work

we shall see how we go and try and fit it into the schedule
