lucky you, here is my car that i got.. and i rushed to get one aswell
its a 1995 Ford Fiesta 1.1 LX version. Mum's BF is a mechanic and looked it over, he said it was a bargain at £500, its in perfect condition and only has 40,000 miles on the clock. Does about 45 MPG which is good for me. Had it since Thursday evening and it runs smoothly for a old car.
even has the original LX wheel trims on it

Re: First Car
A good first car. My first was an MG Metro, 1.1. Had some heavy number of miles on the clock. When it started overheating dramatically, a couple of guys who thought they could fix it and do it up actually bought it off us. The police found it abandoned only a few miles away about a week later.
I suggest you distort or scribble pixels over the reg plates in your photos though, for your own security.

My frst car as an x reg VW golf - damn tank of a car. Front part of the running gear was from a polo van so I had to carry two spare wheels!
Then I got an escort, pretty much all escorts from there

Re: First Car
Nissan Stanza 1.6 ... superb gear box, smooth engine, but getting a bit rusty towards the end of it's life, as with all cars in our family it had worked it's way from Dad's car to Mum's car to elder sister's car then I was allowed to run it into the ground. From that point onwards the family went Peugeot and so I have had a succession of 205s 306s and 206.
Re: First Car
Not bad, My first was a 1993 Audi 80 1.9TDi. Was awesome till I snapped the suspension strut
Best power steering ever.
Now have a 1996 Vectra 1.8LS. Not bad, for £600.

Name it!
NAME IT!
If you don't come up with a name by LL11.
I will.
ORRRR
We could have a load of suggestions put in a hat.
But, for the serious point, your car needs a name!

Re: First Car
My first car was a black VW Polo, and was a total bucket lol.
I now own my 8th and 9th cars:
Proton Satria LXI Sport 1.5 3 Door Hatchback.
Hyundai Accent GSI 1.6 4 Door Saloon.
I'll be rolling up to LL11 in my accent, and you seriously will not recognise it from when I was at LL10!

Re: First Car
My first car was a Mk1 Astra (not an Opel Kadett ) with dull orange paintwork (the paint was actually matt with age!), god knows what year it was.
Looked like this....but in much worse condition and more orange:
