A great deal, and if you are a Steam-o-phile then it's great ... for anyone who prefers a CD or DVD I got a copy from an Amazon shop delivered for under a tenner.
In fact for simplicity I might get the deal and keep my original BF as a backup ... long live Steam!

no gamer should support any platform that doesnt make lanning simple and easy.
having to switch to offline mode and the updates ,, ew.
but i am a hard core pirate so what do u expect (and ninjas should be able to stealth past steam)

I like your thinking.
But you'll be happy to know the extra £1 in seat prices this time round is specifically to support full time, but restricted, internet access. It is restricted so that such things as Steam are allowed, which should ensure no more stupid offline authentication problems ever.
Ask KF for more detail on permitted services though, he's sorting out all the specifics.
