I'm Kat, massive Monkey Island enthusiast and studier of permineralised skeletal material. Or at least I would be if there were any non-curating jobs nearby >.> other interests include drawing (mostly digitally nowadays), playing guitar (badly), card games, board games, role-playing games, games... games...
Life story aside, I've been playing games since I can first remember ever seeing technology. My favourites as a kid were The Legend of Zelda (although I had NO clue what I was doing; the damn game doesn't give any help to young noobs who refuse to read manuals), Monkey Island, Bubble Bobble, Battletoads, Blue Shadow, Ice Climber, Duel, Tetris, Chucky Egg, Camelot, Super Mario Bros... actually, if I continue listing every game I've ever played I'll be here for weeks. To cut it short, I like practically everything. ESPECIALLY if it's multiplayer co-op.
The same goes for anything else, really... I tend to keep my interests outside of boxes if I can; everything deserves a chance (although that doesn't mean I don't have favourites).
Unfortunately over the last couple of years I got roped into WoW, hence haven't done anything at all for a long while. Nowadays it's something I play once in a blue moon though, so no need to worry about me contaminating the room with MMO-mindedness...
Anywho, that's about all I can say about me. I look forward to meeting you all in April
Hey guys ^^

I was so close to posting this earlier myself. However, nothing so far suggests otherwise. Except she chose to go Blue.CyberDrac wrote:This person is biased.Danny wrote: This person is awesome.

Re: Hey guys ^^
So last night I thought to look up the word 'Bryaugh' to figure out how to pronounce it (so I get it right in April).
Did you really get this name from the big bad pwnzor dragon from 'Flight of the Dragons'? I watched various YouTube reels of this old animation and I was instantly submerged deep into nostalgia. Occasionally the scene where every good guy gets wasted by some guffawing dragon floats through my head, but till now I could not remember what film the scene belonged to.
I also remember the weird noses the wizard dudes had. And tubby dragons.
SAY IT IS SO!

Re: Hey guys ^^
Hell yes =D which other amazing epic dragon of sheer awesomeness could strike such fear and awe into the hearts of all who gaze upon him? Bryaugh = best. dragon. ever. I was always sad when he died Nice to know someone else in the world knew the reference! Even if you did have to look it up to remember...Golem wrote:So last night I thought to look up the word 'Bryaugh' to figure out how to pronounce it (so I get it right in April).
