With nineteen weeks until the next event we're still looking for sufficient paid attendees to confirm the event. We have TWELVE confirmed signups for LlamaLAN 26 and we would once again like to thank the members of the LlamaLAN community who have supported the event through their early commitments.
We do however need a further TWELVE community members to take advantage of the DISCOUNTED TICKETS, available at £20 plus PayPal charges instead of the standard £30 plus PayPal charges. In THREE WEEKS (which should roughly match up with most community members' next payday) two significant things will happen; first the discounted tickets offer will end and tickets will revert to their standard price, and second a decision will be made as to whether the event has raised sufficient funds to break even and run. It has never happened before and I hope that in three weeks time will will have seen the eleven signups necessary to guarantee it won't happen this time.
To achieve this we need two things, existing community members to commit to the upcoming event, and for the word of the LlamaLAN experience to be spread far and wide for new members to be inducted into the LlamaLAN horde!
To give the LlamaLAN community another creating outlet and opportunity for socialising we have recently added an Instagram account to our existing Facebook and Twitter offerings, so please follow us over on "llamalanuk", and if anyone has any pictures from any previous events, or any funny moments from your career as a member of the LlamaLAN horde then let us know and we'll be happy to include them.
So in summary ...

LlamaLAN 26 - three weeks to go and halfway to being confirm

Thank you for making this post, Rob.
Has there been any further discussion on the idea of a Saturday Day Ticket? If so would sign ups for these influence the total number of seats required to confirm the LAN?
Also, perhaps starting to discuss games/tournaments being hosted at the LAN might drive more interest?
Things have been quiet recently!
