Quake 4 at LlamaLAN 6

As someone has pointed out elsewhere, Quake 4 is being released on the 21st of October (hopefully), whilst I think we should stick to voting for existing games in the 'what do you want to play' thread I am interested to see how much interest there is in Quake 4.

Oh and by the way ... please only vote if you are going to be a participant at the event, no offence, but spectators don't count

The game will of course be available from all good retailers,

I was trying to remain neutral ... but I wouldn't mind a bit of new game action at LL6.

well iv only just gone A64 so im totaly skint, having to scrape money together atm just to pay for llamalan.

so no i will not be gettin Q4. i will most definatly be trying to get BF2 however, even if i have to steal it

Can i have the following option added

(note lack of fullstop delieberate)

"Was going to wait for the reviews to appear first as dont have much hope for it, but could be persuaded to get it for the lan if its going to be playied, even though i'm abit tight this month"

I could do that, but I have to increse my screen resolution or buy a widescreen monitor to fit it all in

Hopefully there will be a number of reviews before release, I heard a few favourable comments, someone called it 'Doom3 outside' as a criticism, but I take that as a recommendation. Provided they haven't messed around too much with the multiplayer gameplay I'm sure it will be a hit.

Looks like their keeping the multiplayer aspect the same as in Quake 3.

Based on the Poll, we have to call it a draw, I'm sure some Quake 4 will be played, but there is insufficient people with copies of it to play either a tournie or as a 'big game', but I'm sure that there will be an amount played in the 'free for all time'.
