I vote against - we had an AudioSurf tourney at TBG recently. To be FAIR, you all have to play the SAME song... and after hearing the same thing 8 times in a row, you're ready to kill someone.
If you use different songs, then all you'll get is endless 'oh but his song was HARDER' comments.

From reading the posts, I get the impression it would be the same songs for each group (genre), so while you wouldn't get "his song was harder", you would get "SHUT THE F*CK UP WITH THAT SONG!!!!1111one"
definately worth thinking about

See what I'm getting at - an elimination proceeding, so you only ever hear a track twice. All of the songs above would be wicked audiosurf tracks, incidently. Also affords opportunity for many suggestions to be used. I think a single elimination would do fine.
