LlamaLAN - fleeces

In a far ranging discussion today between our resident mad artist, Golem, our head dictator, Kanonfodda, and myself the Igor of the organisation we were talking about the upcoming clothing range for LlamaLAN 7.

Whilst we are still planning the regular t-shirt offering we also thought about something to keep the chill from your bones ... a LlamaLAN FLEECE!

So, who would fancy a LlamaLAN fleece in fetching (and slimming) black with an attractive red Llama motif (similar to that used in the top left of the webpage) over the left breast and the words LLAMALAN and http://www.llamalan.co.uk underneath?

Cost would be around ?25 - ?30 now confirmed at ?29.99

So ... thoughts anyone?

Sounds good, hope they do them small enough for me....but then again a bigger one would keep my knees warm!

If there was a "yes if I could afford it" option then I'd pick that one ;)

Is this just a cunning ploy to get around turning the heating on at the lan?

LOL ... hmmm ... if we were paying extra for the heating it might be a good idea ... ;)

/me wonders if we'll sell more if we disable the heating for the entire weekend (then remembers that it is in June and will make no difference :P)

so you admit you won't be using teh heating and will make us all buy fleeces :P

P.S. it's rare that i wear fleeces or jumpers in general normally i'm fine in a t-shirt, but i sometimes wear hoodies so i can get thrown out of shopping centres

We are still hoping to offer the t-shirt option as usual (subject to interest - see other thread), the fleeces aren't replacing the t-shirts but are a supplement to them, just an idea, I love wearing fleeces and so I might as well wear one with my own personal LlamaWEAR brand ;)

edit: I suppose we could always ask if they could do a one off hoodie if it's not going to cost any more

You could just find a patch of fluffy cloth and stitch it on - instant hoodie! Although a hood with llama ears firmly attached would make you far more of an individual.

Would I be classed as nuts if I stated that I actually thought it was a good idea?

To help decide if you'd want one or not, I'm posting the kind of image you can expect to see as the logo on the black fleece. THIS IS NOT FINAL, just some initial versions of the logo designed in red for a black fabric. You'll notice it is a slight variation of the one that is currently on the site.

The watermark and (c) sign are just for image protection and aren't a part of the designs.

I prefer the more detail, but it depends on what is technically possible. :)

EDIT: Just been informed, 5 colours are allowed with embroidery. Sooo....

We have had detailed correspondance with the manufacturers about the pattern for the embroidery, and have had to tweak the design in order to allow the embroidery machine to do it's best, we have simplified it but managed to retain the best parts of the design, an image of the final design wil lbe posted as soon as we get the all clear from the manufacturer. Golem has really bust a gut over this design and we are on something like the 5th revision, adjusting it slightly each time to get the best out of it.
