Event Name: SparkLAN #4

Start: Friday, 29. August 2008 19:00 (for those who prepay)
End: Sunday, 31. August 2008 17:00 roughly

Information: This is a weekend LAN event for up to 60 people, participants who pay in advance via paypal or bank transfer can arrive from 7pm friday evening. Those wishing to pay on the door can arrive from Saturday 9am.

We now have the location for 3 days and 2 nights, but to take advantage of the extra time you need to pay in advance. Ticket price either way is £25.

Price (advance sale) (Through PayPal): £25 (give access to friday early arrival)

Payment instructions: You can either pay on arrival or to confirm your place in advance you can pay via paypal (because we prefer people to pay via paypal those that do can choose to arrive early, 14 hours early to be exact. The network will be setup ready for early arrivals)

Features:
Smokers section: No, you will need to go outside in the carpark, away from the entranceway.
Network description: The network consists of 3x 24port 10/100 managed switches & a 10 port 10/100/1000 switch. We also have a several servers and a router which will run DHCP, acting as intranet and fileserver, and 3 games servers to run a variety of games.

This LAN has an 8mb internet line running through the entire network.

We will also run a raffle at the LAN tickets are generally 50p each, but you can also win tickets in some tournaments.

Prizes for the tournaments and in the raffles are on the website.

Welcome to the forums, SparkLAN is a little off my usual patch, but good luck with your venture, I hope it works out for you, I know that many of our attendees travel from far and wide to attend and so there are probably a few who look upon your locality as being local.

The lan is £25 per ticket.

We have also added a few extra tournaments to the lineup, and more prizes, we will probably add more soon as Steel Series and Akasa are just about to confirm sponsorship items.

Anyway all are welcome. We tend to run fun events, and well always looking for more people.

Also we normally have groups of 3 or 4 come down always looking for an extra person to join their 5 man team, so most people even if on their own or with just 1 or 2 friends can find a team to play in our tournaments.

The lan championship is in a game called Aregetron, which is a free game, that is like the motorbike duels from Tron.

lol people who went to LL9 are familiar to that game... all the good times green team had
